The BMW Championship field at Bellerive Country Club features the top 50 FedEx Cup players, creating a deep and evenly matched group where multiple contenders enter with comparable recent form, course history, and statistical profiles. Scottie Scheffler’s strong St. Jude performance and overall dominance keep him narrowly atop trader consensus at 48%, yet Ludvig Åberg, Tom Kim, Aaron Rai, and others sit within a few percentage points because their ball-striking consistency, recent scoring averages, and adaptability to the Donald Ross layout produce similar implied probabilities of posting the low round-three total. With 72 holes ahead and no single player holding a clear pre-tournament edge in current rankings or momentum, the market reflects a tightly contested third-round leadership race in which small swings in early scoring or conditions can shift outcomes across a broad group.
