Carlton enters the AFL wildcard final at the MCG with strong recent momentum, having extended an unbeaten streak to five matches after a 76-point win over ladder leaders Fremantle in round 24. Under caretaker-turned-permanent coach Josh Fraser, the Blues have secured 11 wins and a draw in their last 14 outings, providing the form edge despite finishing 10th. Melbourne, in seventh with a superior 15-8 record, closed the home-and-away season with a loss to the Western Bulldogs and face injury monitoring for Matt Jefferson and Dan Turner alongside Jacob van Rooyen's suspension. Traders see Carlton's in-form midfield and expected returns of Will Hayward and Nick Haynes as key factors supporting the 58% implied probability for the Blues.
