Kicker advanced comfortably with a straight-sets win over Nick Hardt and benefits from home support on his preferred surface. Johan Alexander Rodriguez, a 22-year-old Colombian qualifier, has shown strong recent form by navigating qualifying and upsetting Juan Manuel La Serna in the main draw, but he faces a sizable step up against a veteran with a career-high ranking near the top 80. The match pits Kicker’s consistency and tactical maturity against Rodriguez’s momentum and aggressive baseline play, with surface conditions and fatigue from the extended schedule as additional variables.
