Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me,” the lead single from her July 31 album *Petal*, holds overwhelming trader consensus for the Billboard Hot 100’s #2 spot the week of August 15 due to its sustained streaming volume and sales trajectory after a June No. 1 debut and multiple weeks in the top 10. Recent chart data show the track maintaining strong platform metrics even as it ages on the survey, outpacing newer competitors in the absence of a massive same-week release. An upset would require a sharp acceleration from a title such as Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” or Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now” through exceptional sales spikes or viral streaming surges that close the current gap before the chart locks.
