Miyahara, advancing via a 7-6(6), 6-1 edge over Sayaka Ishii, shows resilience but arrives off a W35 Fukuoka loss and limited higher-level success, with no prior head-to-head meetings. Okamura's efficient play (77% first-serve points won, zero breaks conceded in R1) versus Miyahara's break-heavy style highlights the disparity, though outdoor conditions and Miyahara's lower match fatigue could enable an upset; no injuries reported.
