Kyle Schwarber and Yordan Alvarez sit atop the early 2026 home run leaderboard, each with 24 long balls through roughly 70 games, with Schwarber holding a slight edge in pace for Philadelphia while Alvarez delivers elite contact and power for Houston. Recent surges by Schwarber, including multiple multi-homer outbursts and the first 20-homer mark, have reinforced trader consensus around his durability in a favorable lineup spot. Alvarez maintains strong on-base and slugging marks that support his second-place implied probability. Emerging threats like James Wood and Nick Kurtz have climbed into double digits on the market through impressive rookie or sophomore power displays and favorable matchups, while veterans such as Aaron Judge and Matt Olson lag due to slower starts or fewer opportunities. The race remains fluid with over 90 games left, as injury resilience and schedule strength will shape final tallies.
