**The market for the Week 1 interceptions leader remains tightly bunched because single-game turnover totals are highly variable and driven by matchup-specific factors rather than season-long trends.** Most starting quarterbacks enter with similar implied probabilities around 25% as defenses generate pressure through disguised coverages, blitz packages, and contested throws that can produce errant passes regardless of a QB’s accuracy or experience. Recent training camp and preseason reports highlighted turnover issues for several signal-callers, while early Week 1 results (such as multiple picks in the Seahawks-Patriots opener) underscore how one poor sequence or tipped ball can shift the leader. Veterans like Joe Flacco or Jameis Winston carry elevated short-term risk in spot duty, yet established starters face comparable exposure against aggressive secondaries, weather variables, or short rest. This parity in outcomes, combined with the limited sample of one week, sustains the competitive pricing across dozens of options.
