Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors "No" at 90.5% implied probability for GTA 6 costing $100+, driven by Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick's late April comments carefully considering pricing above the $70 industry standard but stopping short of confirming triple-digit tags, aligning with analyst predictions like Bank of America's push for an $80 base to sustain AAA value without alienating mass-market buyers. Historical precedents—GTA V's $60 launch—and recent leaks suggesting multiple editions with high-end collectibles but standard digital tiers around $70-80 reinforce this positioning, amid reports of $1-1.5 billion development costs demanding volume sales over premium hikes. Preorder buzz and potential Trailer 3 could shift odds, though a surprise $100+ base MSRP remains a remote upset scenario given Rockstar's sales-maximizing track record ahead of the May 26, 2026 release.
