Patrick Brady enters the Roehampton 2 Challenger qualifying round of 16 as the clear favorite on hard courts, backed by strong recent form that includes straight-sets wins over higher-seeded players like Alafia Ayeni and solid qualifying results earlier in the event. The 21-year-old Brit has posted a 70% win rate in his last 10 matches, showing reliable second-serve points won and steady break-point conversion that aligns with the current market pricing around 75% implied probability. Andreja Petrovic, the 26-year-old Norwegian ranked slightly higher at world No. 687, brings a sharper return profile in recent data but arrives with inconsistent results, including multiple losses in U.S. hard-court events this summer and a mixed 4-6 record in his past 10 outings. No prior head-to-head exists, and both players remain injury-free, with the outcome likely turning on Brady’s home-soil momentum and serve consistency versus Petrovic’s ability to generate break opportunities in longer rallies.
