Gonzalo Villanueva holds a clear edge over Federico Aguilar Cardozo in the ITF M25 Asuncion clay-court match due to his significantly higher ATP ranking near 316 and far stronger career win-loss record. The Argentine veteran recently advanced by defeating Julian Cundom in straight sets at the same event, while the younger Uruguayan Cardozo, ranked outside the top 1,000, comes in off wins over Victor Bini and Mateo Del Pino. Head-to-head context favors Villanueva, who has faced related players in regional Challenger events this season. Both competitors benefit from recent match play on home-region clay, but Villanueva’s greater experience and consistency on the surface shape the primary market distinction ahead of the encounter.
