Royal Challengers Bengaluru lead the 2026 IPL points table with 16 points from 12 matches and the strongest net run rate, fueled by Virat Kohli’s consistent run-scoring and a balanced bowling attack that has delivered key breakthroughs in recent outings. Gujarat Titans sit level on points with eight wins, benefiting from Sai Sudharsan’s batting depth and strong all-round contributions, while Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings remain within striking distance on 14 and 13 points respectively through explosive top-order batting and effective death bowling. Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings trail slightly but retain realistic qualification paths given their remaining fixtures and head-to-head records. With five teams separated by just a handful of points and net run rate swings possible in every T20 encounter, the championship race stays wide open into the final league phase.
