If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed partnership to reach the Quarterfinals of the 2026 PPA: Veolia Arizona Open Mixed Doubles Tournament (e.g. they are eliminated, withdraw, or are disqualified), the associated market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Professional Pickleball Association (https://ppatour.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**The 2026 Veolia Arizona Open mixed doubles draw at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa is notably open due to the absence of several top teams, including Anna Bright/Hayden Patriquin and the Johnson siblings.** This has elevated the #1 seeds Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns, who receive a bye into the round of 16 and remain the clear favorites based on their dominant recent form and historical edge in the discipline. New or first-time pairings, such as Catherine Parenteau/Jonathan Truong, Tyra Black/Noe Khlif, and others like Jamie Wei/CJ Klinger, add volatility in early rounds, while lower seeds like Etta Tuionetoa/Will Howells or Lacy Schneemann/Jack Sock have paths to exploit favorable brackets. Recent results show tight contests and comebacks among mid-tier teams, underscoring how rest, partner chemistry, and bracket position influence advancement to the quarterfinals on this 1,000-point PPA Tour stop.
