This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Egypt Premier League at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Egypt Premier League season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Egypt Premier League for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Egypt Premier League, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Egypt Premier League. If the 2026-27 Egypt Premier League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Egypt Premier League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Egyptian Premier League's 2026-27 campaign opens with a 20-team format featuring a first-phase round robin followed by a split into a six-team championship group and 14-team relegation group, from which the bottom four sides drop to the Second Division. Newly promoted clubs El Qanah, Asyut Petroleum, and Abu Qair Semad enter after strong lower-division campaigns but face a significant step up, consistent with historical patterns where promoted sides often struggle to accumulate points in the relegation pool. Early fixtures show Ghazl El Mahalla, National Bank of Egypt, ENPPI, and Al Mokawloon already winless, while established sides like Petrojet carry forward concerns over limited open-play scoring. The extended relegation group and carry-over points structure heighten the importance of early momentum and squad depth for survival.
