This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Japan J. League at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Japan J. League season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Japan J. League for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Japan J. League, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Japan J. League. If the 2026-27 Japan J. League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Japan J. League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Early results in the 2026–27 J1 League have quickly highlighted the bottom of the table after just three matchweeks.** JEF United Chiba (newly promoted via playoffs) sit bottom with zero points and a -9 goal difference after three straight defeats. Urawa Red Diamonds, a traditional powerhouse, are winless with heavy losses (including a 3-1 defeat to Machida Zelvia) and a -6 goal difference. Kyoto Sanga hold 18th with one point from three games. These opening fixtures have shaped initial trader positioning around the bottom three, who face automatic relegation to J2. The promoted sides and Urawa’s slump stand out amid otherwise competitive early results from teams like Machida Zelvia, Kashiwa Reysol, and Kashima Antlers at the top. With a long 38-match season ahead, roster adjustments, form recovery, and fixture difficulty will determine whether these sides can climb out or if additional clubs join the relegation fight. Current pricing reflects the wisdom of crowds reacting to these verified early outcomes rather than long-term projections.
