PSG enters the 2026–27 Ligue 1 campaign as the clear frontrunner for direct UEFA Champions League qualification, backed by superior squad depth, recent title pedigree, and consistent European experience. Lens and Lille secured second- and third-place finishes in the prior season to book their spots in the 2026/27 league phase, while Lyon advances through the third qualifying round after finishing fourth. The battle for the remaining direct spots and the fourth-place playoff berth will hinge on early-season form, injury management in a congested fixture list, and head-to-head results among Monaco, Marseille, and Lyon. Traders monitor official team news, table position after matchday 10, and any mid-season transfers that could shift momentum in the title and European race.
