This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 American League Championship Series. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 American League Championship Series per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 American League Championship Series is cancelled, postponed after November 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities among the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, and Boston Red Sox reflects the fiercely competitive AL East race in mid-August 2026, where the Rays hold the division lead at 74-46 with a nine-game winning streak and the majors' best run differential, the Yankees sit six and a half games back at 67-52 on the strength of superior run prevention, and the Red Sox remain within striking distance at 64-56. This balance of current form, pitching depth, and divisional positioning keeps the three clubs as the primary consensus favorites for the AL pennant, while the rest of the league trails with weaker overall records and fewer paths to October dominance. Market pricing captures the ongoing uncertainty of late-season roster health, schedule strength, and the potential for any of these clubs to surge or fade over the final six weeks.
