This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.JJ Wetherholt of the Cardinals holds the lead in the NL Rookie of the Year market as traders weigh his elite defensive metrics, baserunning value, and overall WAR edge against Sal Stewart of the Reds. Stewart has posted stronger raw offensive production through mid-August, including 26 home runs and 89 RBIs, along with a recent July surge that narrowed the gap in voter polls. Wetherholt’s all-around profile—highlighted by top-percentile fielding and baserunning run values—has sustained his implied-probability advantage despite Stewart’s power and RBI leadership among NL rookies. Lower-priced names such as Carson Benge and others trail significantly, reflecting limited playing time, weaker statistical profiles, or earlier injuries that removed them from serious contention.
