This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a fiercely competitive NL Rookie of the Year race, with New York Mets right-hander Nolan McLean emerging as the slim frontrunner at 24% after dominating MLB.com's first 2026 poll, earning 23 first-place votes from beat writers thanks to his league-best ERA and WHIP among rookie starters. Cincinnati Reds infielder Sal Stewart trails closely at 20.5%, buoyed by 10 home runs and 30 RBIs despite snapping a recent 0-for-19 skid, while St. Louis Cardinals second baseman JJ Wetherholt (19.5%) leads qualified NL rookies in on-base percentage and runs scored, and Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin (20%) impresses with balanced speed and pop. Early-season momentum hinges on sustained production, innings accumulation for pitchers, and avoiding slumps in this wide-open field.
