This market will resolve to “Yes” if Rockstar Games, or an authorized representative thereof publicly announces that gameplay of Grand Theft Auto VI has been leaked, between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement will qualify regardless of which leak it refers to, and regardless of when the leak it refers to occurred, provided the announcement itself is made within the specified period. The announcement must be public. Private communications, internal messages, statements by individuals not authorized to speak on behalf of Rockstar Games, and reporting that is not attributable to an official Rockstar Games announcement will not be considered. If no such announcement is made by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Rockstar Games.Rockstar has not issued any official confirmation or statement acknowledging the authenticity of the recent GTA VI gameplay and map leaks that surfaced around August 18–20, 2026, despite the footage spreading rapidly on social platforms and appearing to show authentic mechanics such as advanced vehicle physics, wanted-level systems, and interactive environments. The studio has instead relied on standard DMCA takedowns to remove clips, consistent with its past approach to unauthorized material rather than direct commentary. With an official “extended look” reveal scheduled for Netflix on August 27, traders see limited incentive for Rockstar to validate the leaks publicly and risk shaping expectations ahead of controlled marketing. This combination of silence, legal responses, and an imminent official showcase supports the market’s modest lean toward “No” at 55% implied probability.
