David Njoku’s recent agreement to a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, worth up to $8 million, has anchored trader consensus around the team at 94.6 percent. After nine seasons with the Cleveland Browns, the veteran tight end became an unrestricted free agent when his prior deal voided, prompting the Chargers to add the Pro Bowl pass-catcher to complement quarterback Justin Herbert and bolster the tight-end room. Official team announcements and reporting from established NFL insiders confirm the signing, which occurred within the past week. While the implied probability remains dominant, a late-season injury, performance shortfall, or unexpected roster move before or during the 2026 campaign could still shift the outcome.
