Recent statements from Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick have anchored trader confidence that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch at standard AAA pricing in the $70–$80 range. His March 2026 remarks, echoed in later interviews, explicitly aligned the title with current industry benchmarks rather than any premium $100-plus model, reinforcing expectations for broad accessibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This guidance has overshadowed isolated retailer placeholders and fan speculation about higher costs tied to the game’s massive budget. With the November 2026 release date now firm, attention turns to any final pricing reveal or pre-order details that could still shift momentum, though current signals point to a conventional base edition.
