Rockstar Games officially confirmed GTA 6's standard edition at $79.99 with an Ultimate Edition at $99.99 ahead of pre-orders in June 2026, aligning with Take-Two Interactive's repeated emphasis on value-driven AAA pricing in the $70–$80 range. This announcement, paired with the game's November 19 launch timeline and mass-appeal strategy despite its record development budget, has solidified trader consensus against a $100+ base price. Historical patterns for blockbuster titles and ongoing pre-order positioning further reinforce the market-implied odds near 97.5% for "No." A narrow upset window remains if Rockstar unexpectedly raises the standard edition before launch, though current signals and industry benchmarks make such a shift improbable.
