This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 WNBA regular season with the highest assists per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest assists per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).Caitlin Clark holds a commanding position in the 2026 WNBA assists per game race, averaging around 7.8–8.1 APG through the early season while leading or ranking near the top in total assists for the Indiana Fever. Her elite court vision, high-usage role in the Fever offense, and consistent double-digit assist games have driven trader consensus toward her 70.5% implied probability. Alyssa Thomas trails closely at roughly 7.8 APG with the Phoenix Mercury, leveraging veteran playmaking and efficiency in a contending lineup. Paige Bueckers and Olivia Miles represent the primary challengers at 16% and 7% respectively, with Bueckers posting strong rookie-level distribution numbers around 5.8 APG for Dallas amid rising minutes. Market pricing also factors in historical benchmarks, with Clark’s career assist rate and recent record-setting pace creating separation from the rest of the field.
