In the ITF M15 Wuning 2 on hard courts in China, higher-ranked Rigele Te (No. 836) holds trader consensus favor as a seeded local entrant with superior experience and career-high No. 395, benefiting from home crowd support and a direct main draw entry. 18-year-old Australian qualifier Ashton McLeod (No. 1631) earned his spot with gritty wins over Vitali Shvets (7-5, 7-5) on May 11 and Brody Nejedly (1-6, 6-3, 10-8) on May 12, building momentum but risking fatigue from three matches in 48 hours. No head-to-head history; Te's stylistic edge on hard could prevail absent upsets from McLeod's junior-level upside.
