Mathys Erhard and Ivan Marrero Curbelo, both ranked near 360 on the ATP, meet in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Challenger on outdoor hard courts. The 24-year-old Frenchman brings a 188 cm frame and recent three-set victories in the draw, including a comeback win, while the 27-year-old Spaniard enters with a strong 51-21 record over the past year and straight-set progress through his opening matches. Their similar rankings and lack of prior head-to-head meetings create a balanced matchup where serve efficiency, return breaks, and physical endurance on hard courts will likely decide the outcome. Recent form and tournament momentum favor the higher-seeded player, though Marrero’s experience in lower-tier events offers realistic upset potential if he maintains pressure on second serves.
