Svyatoslav Gulin enters the Prague Challenger qualification round as the consensus favorite with roughly three-quarters implied probability, reflecting traders' assessment of his current trajectory against higher-ranked but less consistent Marek Gengel. The Czech Gengel holds the superior ATP ranking near 385 and a career-high of 229, yet recent results show mixed form, including a loss in Prostejov. Gulin, ranked around 576, has posted stronger recent challenger-level results that traders appear to weigh more heavily on this surface. No prior head-to-head exists, and the match occurs on outdoor clay in Gengel’s home country, adding a potential home-crowd factor. Late scratches or weather delays remain the primary variables that could still shift the outcome before first ball.
