Andrej Martin enters the M15 Vienna clay final with a clear edge in experience and recent form, holding a career clay win rate above 60 percent and ranking near 391 after solid 2026 results on the surface. The 36-year-old Slovak advanced convincingly through the draw, including a three-set semifinal victory. Manuel Plunger, a 24-year-old Italian ranked around 862 with an 8-7 record this year, has posted upset wins to reach his first final at this level but faces a significant step up in opponent quality and match toughness. Clay conditions favor Martin's baseline consistency and serve reliability over Plunger's developing game, though the younger player's momentum from the semifinal creates some competitive tension in the matchup.
