Rottoli holds a significant ranking edge at approximately 899 compared to Seghetti’s 1500, giving the 24-year-old Italian greater experience on the ITF circuit despite both competing on home clay at M25 Lesa. Seghetti, a 20-year-old right-hander, arrives after a dominant straight-sets win over Gianmarco Ferrari in the prior round, though his broader recent results show inconsistency on the surface. The pair has no prior head-to-head meetings, leaving form, physical freshness after the short turnaround, and clay-court movement as primary variables traders weigh. Rottoli’s steadier results in 2026 position him as the consensus favorite in the round of 16, while any late injury or fatigue factors could quickly shift implied probabilities.
