Both Chinese players face off in the ITF W15 Tianjin 2 semifinal on hard courts, with higher-ranked Chengyiyi Yuan (WTA ~487) bringing greater experience against the younger Yushan Shao (~797). Shao has posted strong recent results in the draw, including straight-set wins over Xiran Lan and a three-set victory over Chia Yi Tsao, while Yuan advanced past Yu Jun Lin. The tight trader consensus around even money reflects their comparable current form, limited head-to-head history, and the home-soil advantage for both in this low-level event. No confirmed injuries or late withdrawals have altered the field.
