The Atlanta Braves, holding a strong 73-48 record and atop the NL East, visit the Minnesota Twins (around 60-63) for a three-game series at Target Field beginning August 17. Atlanta’s edge stems from overall depth and recent form despite multiple pitchers on the injured list, including Spencer Strider and others sidelined into September. Minnesota sits mid-pack in the AL Central and has shown inconsistent results. Key variables include probable pitching matchups, bullpen availability for both clubs, and how the Braves’ offense performs on the road against a Twins squad looking to gain ground in a tight division race. Schedule fatigue and any late roster adjustments could also influence outcomes.
