Incumbent Michelle Romero holds a commanding position in the 2026 Henderson mayoral race, advancing from the June 2026 nonpartisan primary with the most votes—nearly 50 percent—and more than double the total of any challenger. Her established record as mayor since 2023, prior city council service, and broad name recognition among Henderson voters underpin the strong trader consensus reflected in current pricing. The November 3 general election pits her against Hollie Chadwick, a former police chief who placed second in the primary. While Romero’s lead appears durable given historical incumbent advantages in local contests, late developments such as shifts in local economic conditions, public safety concerns, or turnout patterns among key voting blocs could narrow the margin before election day.
