Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru hold a slim edge in trader consensus at 29.5% implied probability for IPL 2026 title despite slipping to second on the points table, buoyed by superior net run rate (NRR) among 14-point contenders, while Gujarat Titans surged to the top at 26.7% following their dominant win over Sunrisers Hyderabad two days ago that secured their magic 16-point mark. The razor-tight playoffs race—with eight teams battling for top-four spots, including SRH (14.1%), CSK (10.3%), and PBKS (10%)—reflects bunched league-stage standings after 11-12 matches, recent momentum shifts like GT's home dominance, and high-stakes upcoming clashes such as CSK vs GT and RCB vs SRH. KKR and DC languish at under 1% amid poor form and elimination risks.
