Royal Challengers Bengaluru hold the top position in the ongoing IPL 2026 points table with the strongest net run rate, driven by consistent results including a recent two-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians and strong contributions from bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad sit close behind on equal points, supported by balanced squads featuring Shubman Gill and dynamic batting lineups that have delivered competitive performances this season. These developments have shaped trader consensus around the leading contenders, while teams like Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals trail due to inconsistent form and lower points tallies. Historical success as defending champions further bolsters RCB's standing amid the playoff race.
