This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The A-League Men’s 2026–27 campaign opens amid notable parity across the 12-team field, with Auckland FC holding a marginal edge as defending champions while Newcastle Jets enter as defending premiers. Multiple clubs have undergone head-coach transitions, including Melbourne Victory and Western Sydney Wanderers, alongside roster adjustments such as Awer Mabil’s arrival at Melbourne City. Pre-season friendlies, new IFAB law trials, and ongoing collective-bargaining uncertainty have left form and depth difficult to project. These factors, combined with a 26-match regular season that rewards consistency over any single standout squad, have produced closely bunched implied probabilities for runner-up, reflecting broad trader consensus on the absence of a clear second-place frontrunner heading into October.
