Multiple mid-table and established sides enter the 2026-27 Croatian HNL with comparable squad depth and recent transfer activity, leaving no dominant challenger to Dinamo Zagreb’s expected title run. Early-season results show Varaždin, Osijek and Lokomotiva collecting points at a similar clip, while Hajduk Split and Rijeka rely on historical head-to-head records and home form to stay in contention. The absence of major injuries or coaching upheavals among the chasing pack, combined with a balanced fixture list in the opening rounds, sustains the tight implied probabilities across the field. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with outcomes clustered because any single team’s inconsistency could quickly shift second place without altering the overall competitive balance.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Croatian HNL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Croatian HNL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Croatian HNL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
