Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Senegal lead the AFCON 2027 winner market at 19%, 17.5%, and 15.2% respectively, with Cameroon, Ghana, and DR Congo close behind, reflecting a tightly contested field. Multiple sides enter with strong recent form from the 2026 World Cup, where nine African teams reached the knockout stage, highlighting improved depth and European-based talent across the continent. Morocco carries defending champion status from the 2025 edition despite the neutral venue in East Africa, while Ivory Coast and Senegal boast high squad market values and consistent tournament pedigrees. Ongoing AFCON 2027 qualifiers, coaching transitions, and player availability over the next year keep probabilities fluid, as no single team holds a decisive edge in a balanced group of contenders.
