Nick Hardt enters this Prague Challenger first-round clay-court matchup as the clear favorite based on his superior ATP ranking near 275 and career-high of 177, compared to the 20-year-old Czech Jakub Filip’s position outside the top 900. Hardt brings greater professional experience and recent ITF-level success on the surface, while Filip relies on home-soil familiarity and junior pedigree including a Wimbledon boys’ doubles title. No prior head-to-head record exists between the players. Recent form shows Hardt dropping a straight-sets loss in Todi, though his overall 2026 results reflect stronger depth than Filip’s limited Challenger exposure. Surface conditions and the local crowd represent the primary variables that could narrow the gap in this 128-draw event.
