Aidan Kim enters the Kingston 2 Challenger first-round qualifying match as the clear favorite against Ronit Karki, reflecting his higher ATP ranking (No. 574 vs. No. 879), greater professional experience, and 6-foot-3 frame that supports a stronger serve on hard courts. The 21-year-old Ohio State senior has posted a 15-7 record in 2026 with multiple deep runs in M25 and Challenger events, while the 18-year-old Karki, transitioning from juniors and committed to Stanford, holds a lower-ranked profile with limited main-draw success. Both players compete right-handed on outdoor hard, where Kim’s recent hard-court results and break-point defense edge provide the primary edge in implied probability. No prior head-to-head exists, and late roster or injury updates remain the main variables that could shift the consensus.
