Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” commands overwhelming trader consensus for the Billboard Hot 100 #2 slot the week of August 15, driven by its sustained streaming strength and tour-driven consumption following the late-July release of her Petal album. The track, which earned the artist her tenth career Hot 100 No. 1 earlier this summer, continues to post competitive numbers amid competition from long-running country crossover “Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley and other top-10 holdovers. Market-implied odds above 90% reflect consistent performance data and historical precedent for pop lead singles holding high positions in the tracking window. An upset would require an unexpected late surge in sales or radio from a rival or a sharp drop in Ariana’s streams before the chart locks.
