Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” leads trader sentiment for CMA Song of the Year 2026 with strong market-implied odds, driven by its record-setting chart run—including 21-plus weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and top honors as Songs of the Summer—and its ACM Song of the Year win earlier in 2026. The track’s crossover dominance, co-written with Miranda Lambert, has created overwhelming momentum heading into the Nov. 18 ceremony. Nominations announced September 10 positioned it alongside Langley’s own “Be Her,” Megan Moroney’s “Beautiful Things,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Dry Spell,” and Stephen Wilson Jr.’s “Gary,” with the latter drawing niche support for its raw songwriting. Traders appear to weigh “Choosin’ Texas”’s commercial and precursor strength heavily while acknowledging Song of the Year’s focus on composition could allow for an upset.
