The Colima gubernatorial race for 2027 remains in its early pre-campaign phase, with party nomination processes still underway and the general election more than a year distant. Morena holds a clear lead in aggregate voter intention surveys, consistent with its control of the state government since 2021, yet internal preferences among its aspirants such as Rosa María Bayardo Cabrera show fragmentation. Opposition parties including PAN, PRI, and Movimiento Ciudadano register lower overall support, with their own contenders like Riult Rivera Gutiérrez and Mely Romero Celis competing for visibility. High shares of undecided respondents and the absence of finalized tickets keep implied probabilities clustered tightly among listed names. Key upcoming catalysts include party conventions, candidate registrations, and any shifts in national coalition dynamics that could consolidate or dilute support before formal campaigning begins.
