Josh Rock holds a slight edge in trader consensus for the New Zealand Darts Masters clash against veteran James Wade, reflecting his stronger recent trajectory and competitive order-of-merit standing. The 25-year-old has secured multiple ranking titles in 2026, reached UK Open semifinals, and delivered high averages alongside nine-dart finishes in Premier League appearances, showcasing consistent scoring and finishing under pressure. Wade, ranked narrowly ahead at sixth, brings extensive experience and proven major final appearances but has shown more variable results in recent ProTour events. Head-to-head records tilt modestly toward Rock, while the pair’s similar averages suggest a tight contest where Rock’s current momentum and youth provide the narrow probabilistic advantage reflected in pricing.
