Canada leads the 2026 IIHF World Championship market as trader consensus reflects its deep NHL talent pool, including standouts like Macklin Celebrini and established stars such as Connor McDavid, positioning the team for its first title since 2023 after Olympic silver. Switzerland benefits from home-ice advantage in Zurich and Fribourg plus recent silver-medal form, while Finland draws support from consistent contention and Olympic bronze momentum. Sweden and the defending-champion United States trail amid early group play that has produced limited upsets so far, with roster availability and power rankings reinforcing the current implied probabilities across the field.
