Morgan Stanley holds an 78.5% implied probability as lead underwriter in Anthropic’s anticipated IPO, driven by its positioning for the “lead left” role in recent Wall Street reporting. The bank leads a $15 billion pre-IPO revolving credit facility finalized in early September 2026, mirroring the structure that aligned financing commitments with underwriting mandates on prior large tech deals such as SpaceX. Goldman Sachs, at 8.5%, is expected to serve as stabilization agent, a role it held on SpaceX’s June 2026 listing, while JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Barclays occupy supporting positions after earlier debt participation. Anthropic’s confidential S-1 filing in June and public prospectus expected imminently have reinforced trader consensus around these allocations ahead of a potential mid-October debut.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
