Several Liga MX clubs enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable attacking depth and defensive structures that support sustained positive goal differentials across both tournaments. Toluca and Monterrey lead implied probabilities after strong recent pedigree—Toluca’s Concacaf Champions Cup success and Monterrey’s early-season scoring output—while Cruz Azul and Club América follow closely, bolstered by title momentum and solid net tallies in the opening matchdays. Early Apertura results already show América and Monterrey posting +7 differentials, with Toluca and Pumas also positive, underscoring the group’s parity. Squad continuity at UNAM and Chivas, plus reinforcements at Rayados and tactical tweaks at La Máquina, prevent any clear separation. League-wide balance, fixture swings, and injury or rotation risks keep the field clustered in trader consensus.
