This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Cam Schlittler of the Yankees has established himself as the AL Cy Young frontrunner through a breakout campaign featuring a 2.21 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 182 strikeouts, and 4.8 bWAR across 146.2 innings, leading the league in several rate categories while limiting opponents to a .205 average. Recent strong outings, including a seven-inning, 11-strikeout performance, have reinforced trader consensus around his 62.5% implied probability. Dylan Cease of the Blue Jays remains the primary challenger at 33.3%, anchored by league-leading strikeout totals and a .196 opponent batting average despite a midseason hamstring absence that limited his innings; his 4.1 WAR keeps the race competitive but trails in volume and ERA. Distant contenders like Drew Rasmussen and Sonny Gray register minimal probabilities, reflecting their lower WAR, strikeout rates, and consistency relative to the top two.
