This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong has surged into the lead in the 2026 NL MVP race on the strength of a second-half offensive explosion that includes a .285 batting average, 27 home runs, 30 stolen bases, and a .933 OPS, backed by elite center-field defense and 7.5 bWAR. This momentum, highlighted by his multi-homer performance during the Cubs’ sweep of the Dodgers, has shifted trader consensus toward the 24-year-old outfielder at 53.8% implied probability. Shohei Ohtani remains a close second at 45% due to his continued dominance in OPS, on-base percentage, and two-way contributions, though reduced mound work and PCA’s edge in games played and baserunning have narrowed the gap. Distant contenders like Matt Olson and Elly De La Cruz trail significantly, reflecting limited recent momentum relative to the top duo.
