The Minnesota Twins hold a slight edge in implied probability against the Detroit Tigers in their AL Central series at Target Field, driven by home-field advantage and a favorable pitching matchup despite both clubs sitting outside the playoff picture. The Twins (65-72) enter with recent roster momentum after calling up top prospect Walker Jenkins, though they must navigate without center fielder Byron Buxton (hip) and starter Joe Ryan (glute) on the IL. Detroit (63-73) has faltered on the road lately, dropping five straight away games while placing key outfielders Riley Greene, Kerry Carpenter, and Matt Vierling on the injured list. Rookie right-hander Jackson Jobe takes the ball for the Tigers opposite Taj Bradley, whose strikeout-heavy profile aligns with Minnesota's stronger home splits. Multiple Tigers arms also remain sidelined, limiting bullpen depth as the clubs close out a season series the Twins lead.
