The Minnesota Twins have dominated the current three-game series against the Detroit Tigers, outscoring them 26-3 across the first two contests at Target Field with explosive innings featuring multi-homer efforts from Royce Lewis, Ryan Jeffers, and Kody Clemens plus Walker Jenkins' first MLB homer. Detroit (63-75) has dropped 14 of its last 17 games overall and seven straight on the road, while Minnesota (67-72) has won three in a row and sits 3.5 games back of the AL's final wild-card spot. Tigers starters have been tagged for double-digit runs in both outings amid bullpen leaks, contrasting with the Twins' second-ranked AL offense and home advantage. September roster expansions, including Riley Greene's return for Detroit, add lineup depth but have yet to halt the skid heading into the September 2 matchup and rematch series later in the month.
