If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which Big 12 player led the conference in rushing yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Big 12 rushing title remains highly competitive early in the season due to exceptional depth among returning and transferring running backs across multiple programs. Preseason standouts such as BYU’s LJ Martin, West Virginia’s Cam Cook, Texas Tech’s Cameron Dickey, Utah’s Wayshawn Parker, and Oklahoma State’s Caleb Hawkins bring proven production from prior years, while supporting options like TCU’s Jeremy Payne, Kansas State’s Joe Jackson, and others add further parity. With only a handful of games played, modest early yardage totals, variable workloads, offensive line health, and conference-wide defensive adjustments continue to compress implied probabilities, reflecting the wisdom of crowds in a wide-open race where no single back has separated decisively.
