This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Sun Belt Football Championship Game, determining the champion of the Sun Belt Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 4, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Sun Belt Conference (https://sunbelt.org); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple Sun Belt programs enter the 2026 season with comparable rosters and limited returning production, fueling tight market pricing around James Madison, Old Dominion, Troy, and several others. Preseason coaches polls name JMU and Troy as division favorites, yet both face significant turnover and projected SP+ declines after recent success. The East features a cluster of contenders including Old Dominion and Marshall, while the West pits Louisiana, Arkansas State, and Louisiana Tech against Troy in what previews describe as a wide-open race. Schedule strength, early-season results, and injury developments in the first month will likely separate the pack, keeping implied probabilities closely bunched until conference play clarifies frontrunners.
